While on the road to find the mage
Face so pure Elven ears graced
Hair so fine, lips so smooth
I met her on the roadside, her cloak was torn
Battered and scared, “Goblins,” she said
At first, she seemed a bit unsure of me
I knew I had to do something
So, I took her hand in mine
The sun shone down on her face
I said, it will be alright
I see something special in your eyes
I will be there when you fall
Every trial we’ll face together
And when you are lost
I will come for you and help you carry on
So she traveled by my side, all the while
Talking of her forest home of trees of gold
We talked and we laughed
And I couldn’t see this journey without her
When she smiled it lit up my soul
Through the past and the pain we were bold
So I said it will be alright
Every time you laugh the little light left shines
Along the road came a sign
And I knew I’d have to go down south
To the dying waste
Of that wicked mage
And I said, I don’t know if you should come
But then I heard her say:
"I will be there when you fall"
